So I got suckered in to Muay Thai training. Home gym so I don’t have a real excuse not to do it. And I’m not paying for it, so even less excuse. It’s been going pretty well. I get winded pretty quickly, and I don’t know if it’s because I’m pushing myself hard or what, but I sweat like crazy. I’m not that sore after. A little tired but not muscle sore. We’ve been doing it for about a month now and it wasn’t until this weekend that I’m now showing bruising on my shins from kicking the heavy bag. Kinda cool. Shows I’m actually doing it.
I’m never going to compete, and I doubt I’ll ever be in an actual fight that requires me to use the training, but it’s exercise, and it’s cool, so if it helps me lose weight then I’ll continue doing it.
